Hydro One is dedicated to providing its customers with timely access to essential information. The new Hydro One mobile application enhances the customer experience by facilitating management of their services and delivering real-time updates about power outages in their vicinity.

The mobile app includes a newly integrated myAccount self-service feature, empowering customers to:
<ul>
 <li>View their bill and account balance</li>
 <li>Opt for paperless billing</li>
 <li>Register for SMS notifications</li>
 <li>Access detailed 'time of use' consumption data, among other features</li>
</ul>

Additionally, the app boasts a comprehensive power outage map, providing users with immediate insights into any service interruptions at home or at their cottage. This map is updated every ten minutes and includes:
<ul>
 <li>The number of customers affected</li>
 <li>Estimated time for restoration</li>
 <li>The cause of the outage, if known</li>
 <li>Status of the repair crews on-site</li>
</ul>

The outage maps utilize color-coded symbols to effectively illustrate the extent of service disruptions and their locations, underscoring Hydro One's commitment to ensuring customers have access to critical information when they need it. This functionality is now conveniently available on the go.
